WHO WE ARE
Uganda Martyrs’ Seminary, Namugongo (UMS) is an Anglican Church of Uganda Institution of Higher Education established by Namirembe Diocese in 1976 in memory of Christian Martyrs killed on 3rd June 1886 to offer Theological training for ordination in the Anglican Church. It’s located at the Uganda Anglican Martyrs shrine Namugongo.
UMS is a fully Accredited Tertiary Institution licensed by National Council for Higher Education (NCHE) and holds a “Certificate of Classification and Registration” It is also affiliated to Uganda Christian University (UCU) and Diploma programs are awarded by UCU.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Diploma Programs;
- UACE with at-least one Principal pass and 2 Subsidiary passes obtained at the same sitting (or the equivalence) or a C (plain) for Kenyan Applicants.
- A Certificate from a recognized Educational institution.
Certificate Programs;
- UCE with at-least 3 passes obtained at the same sitting..
